Biosafety refers to the measures taken to prevent the occurrence of harmful incidents and effects resulting from biological research. It involves the establishment of standards and guidelines to be followed in laboratory settings which is the primary objective to regularly monitor and control the use of chemicals, biological agents, and radiation.
