Ganzour Internal Medicine and Elderly Hospital Laboratory

Adhering to safety procedures within the medical laboratory is a universal requirement that applies to all individuals working in this field. These procedures are in place to ensure the well-being of laboratory personnel, their colleagues, and the surrounding environment. The laboratory serves as a central point for knowledge acquisition, development, observation, and control. While it offers numerous benefits, it also generates a significant amount of waste that can be detrimental to human health and the ecosystem. Therefore, it is crucial to handle this waste safely. Unfortunately, until recently, the potential risks faced by laboratory workers were often overlooked, resulting in the absence of established safety standards (Safety First). Beside that we successeded in:
Laboratory Policies, Manual Handbook, SOPs, Risk Assessments, MSDS, PSDS, Laboratory Biosafety Program, Biosecurity Plan, Emergency Plan, Emergency Codes, Fire Code and Drills, Emergency Plan, Chemical Inventory, Occurrence Variance Report (OVR), Training Logbook, Rejected Criteria, Critical Value, TAT, STAT, Spill Kit, First Aid Kit, Competency Test, New Employees Orientation.
